Harrington, DE — Seven $20,000 divisions of Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund stakes for 2-year-old pacers will go postward Monday (Oct. 17) at Harrington Raceway.

There will be four filly divisions and three for colts. Ed Walls’ Designer Bags (9-5, Allan Davis) heads the first division which is slated as the second half of the daily double as race two on the 14-race program. The Roddy’s Bags Again filly won her elimination last week narrowly in 1:58.3 for trainer David Rearic.

The second division will start the Pick-4 (races 3-6) as Badlands Racing and Leblanc Racing’s No Picnic (2-1, Ross Wolfenden) bids for a sweep of her eliminations, following her 1:57.4 triumph last week.

Race five marks the third leg of the Pick-4 and first colt division. Gary and Barbara Iles Shaving Mug (8-5, Montrell Teague) will square off with a six-horse field that includes fellow elimination winner, Triple S Stables’ Lady’s Bag Man (5-2, Corey Callahan).

The second colt division is the seventh race, featuring Legacy Racing, Nanticoke Racing, Niel Gargiulo and Louie Paglierani’s Flying Instructor (2-1, Eddie Davis, Jr.) who is among a field of seven that includes elimination winner Te’s Radar (7-2, Brad Hanners), who earned his first career win in his first pari-mutuel start and paid $77 in doing so.

The third filly division is the eighth race and is headlined by Preston Burris and David Hanauer’s Genie’s Genie (2-1, Tony Morgan), an upset winner last week over George Teague and Badlands Racing’s Triple Wire (9-5, Montrell Teague).

The final filly division is the 10th race. No elimination winners drew into the field of six, but a pair of third-place finishers last week have earned favorite status in Ben Stafford’s Mama Said (3-1, Ben Stafford, Jr.) and James and Joe Skowyra’s Two Cam (5-2, Bret Brittingham).

The final DSBF event is the 12th race, the third colt division, including a pair of favorites who will look to atone for mistakes in their elims last week. Eli Scott and Greg Simendinger’s Its Outta Here (2-1, Wolfenden) and George Teague’s Majorly Bad (3-1, Montrell Teague) will match-up in the field of six.
