Duly Resolved cruises to Open win at Tioga

Nichols, NY – Duly Resolved (Tyler Miller) went gate-to-wire to capture the $16,000 Open Handicap Trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (July 13).

Duly Resolved ($4.50) pushed the gate open and went right to the front and led to the quarter in :28. He went :29.2 in the second quarter to be first to the half in :57.2. Joxter (Dan Daley) was first to make a move first-over heading down the backstretch. Duly Resolved led to three-quarters in 1:25.1.

As they reached the stretch, Duly Resolved found another gear and breezed home to win easily in 1:55. Makadushin N Cheez (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) was second best. Heavens Pic (Aaron Byron) finished third.

Duly Resolved is a 5-year-old gelding by Resolve. He is owned by Pollack Racing and trained by Jeff Cullipher. It was his fifth win in 2024. He now has 14 career victories.

Tyler Miller drove three winners on the card. Miguel Alejo-Hernandez had a driving double. Jeff Cullipher and Rob Harmon each had training doubles.
