Nichols, NY – Duly Resolved (Tyler Miller) captures the featured $16,000 Open Trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (Aug. 2).
Duly Resolved went to the front and led to the quarter in :28.1. He used a :29.2 second quarter and was first to the half in :57.3. Sevenshotobourbon (Tom Merton) was first to make a move as they headed for the final turn. Duly Resolved lead led to three-quarters in 1:24.4.
Second place finisher Enola (Mike Merton) came flying down the stretch but fell just short as Duly Resolved won in 1:54.1. P Chico (Ridge Warren) finished third.
Duly Resolved is a 6-year-old gelding by Resolve. He is owned by Pollack Racing and Trained by Jeff Cullipher. It was his sixth win in 2025. He now owns 21 career victories.
Ridge Warren drove three winners on the card. Mike Merton Had a driving double. Robert Baggit Jr. and Edgar Clarke had training doubles.
