Duly Resolved wins feature at Tioga

Nichols, NY — Duly Resolved (Tyler Miller) captured the $16,000 Open Handicap Trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (June 15).

City Of Hope (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) took the lead and led to the quarter in :27. He used a :29.1 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.1. Duly Resolved ($4.80) made his move going first-over down the backstretch. City Of Hope led to three-quarters in 1:24.4.

As they reached the stretch, Duly Resolved surged by to get the win in 1:54.3. May Baby (Braxten Boyd) came on late to finish second; Sevenshotsobourbon (Tom Merton) was third.

Duly Resolved is a 5-year-old gelding by Resolve owned by Pollack Racing and trained by Jeff Cullipher. It was his fourth win this season. He now has 13 career victories.

Braxten Boyd had a driving triple. Tyler Miller and Bruce Aldrich Jr. had driving doubles.
