Eldorado Scioto Downs Holiday card to feature 10 Buckeye Stallion Series races

Grove City, OH –– Tom Swifty and What An Ocean View will look to three-peat in the Buckeye Stallion Series on Thursday (July 4) at Eldorado Scioto Downs as the third leg of the series for sophomore colt trotters and pacers kicks off. Ten $20,000 BSS races are on tap, five each for gait.

Tom Swifty will look for his third series win in the second division of sophomore trotters. The 7-5 favorite will have Dan Noble in the bike. Tom Swifty has won five of eight starts this year.

The first division of trotters has three previous winners. Beaueastel, Chipstead, and What A Dandy will square off. Peter Wrenn will drive the favorite Beaueastel who is looking for his fifth win in six 2024 starts.

The third division also features three past winners, Gypsy Hill, You Dont Fool Me, and Zoned. None of the past three winners are the morning line favorite. That honor belongs to Do Whats Right. Chris Page will drive the 2-1 favorite.

The fourth and fifth divisions feature past winners. In the fourth division, first leg winner Sup is entered, while Papa Nordin, a winner in the second leg, is the favorite in the fifth division.

What An Ocean View headlines the fifth division of 3-year-old pacers. Chris Page will pilot the 3-2 favorite. Threemargaritashot, a winner in the first leg, is also entered in the fifth division.

In the first division, two previous winners, Wirelesscaller and Leaving A Legend will face off. Rainrock is the 5-2 favorite in the first division.

My Legend, a previous winner starting in the second division, will look to win for the second time in the series. Luke Hanners will drive the 15-1 longshot.

The fourth division will feature three past winners. Attention Span, High On The Hill, and Well That’s Marky will look for their second win in the Buckeye Stallion Series.

Dancin Moon, the other two-time BSS winner in the 3-year-old pace, will head to the Ohio Sire Stakes for his next start.

The July 4 card at Eldorado Scioto Downs will start at 3:15 p.m.
