Saratoga, NY — A pair of even money favorites prevailed in the afternoon’s co-featured races at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Thursday (July 21.)
Bruce Aldrich Jr. went three-for-three to start the program and completed his hat trick with Elusive Action (Conway Hall) as the John Grasso trainee scored first over in the $9,300 co-featured event for New York-sired trotters.
Elusive Action prevailed in his return to town after more than a month long stint at Yonkers. The race’s even money favorite, Elusive Action stopped the timer in 2:00 to record his third win of the year.
Love Crazy Love (Crazed) also made her return to the Spa a winning one as she went coast to coast with Frank Coppola Jr. in the sulky. The Gates Brunet-trained filly was the even-money favorite in her division of the $9,300 co-feature and stopped the timer in 1:58.4.
