Enchanted Mission rebounds in Friday Northville Open Trot

Northville, MI – Enchanted Mission and leading driver Marc St. Louis, Jr. captured the featured $10,800 Open Trot Friday night (Nov. 18) at Northville Downs.

Following the early leader Major Al-mar and Kody Massey to the lead past the quarter in :28.2, Enchanted Mission, the 8-year-old son of Manofmanymissions took over the lead and never looked back, cruising to a half-length victory over a hard-charging runner-up I Get It and driver Bob Rowland in a final clocking of 1:58.3.

The win was Enchanted Mission’s 12th of 2022 and the 24th of his career and his lifetime earnings are now $153,264.  Enchanted Mission is owned by Dr. Joshua Tanis and trained by Danielle St. Louis.

Meanwhile, the night’s leaders were drivers Kody Massey with three wins, Winter Asher-Stalbaum with two wins as a driver, and trainer/owner Paul Cloer, Jr. who had a training grand slam with four training wins. Owner Lases Racing had three wins on the night as well, all of which came for trainer Cloer and driver Massey.

Northville Downs live racing resumes Saturday (Nov. 19) at 7:30 p.m. Northville Downs races every Friday and Saturday night through Dec. 17.
