Pompano Beach, FL — The Florida Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association is pleased to announce its annual yearling and mixed sale will be held at Pompano Park on Sunday, November 6, starting at 12 noon.
Entries must be provided to the FSBOA and entry forms are available at the FSBOA office and also on its website at www.flstandardbreds.com. Entry fee is $150 if received on/or before September 13. Late entry fee is $300 and must be received not later than September 24.
A signed registration certificate or electronic transfer USTA form must accompany the entry along with stakes engagements. A 2011 negative coggins must be provided to FSBOA seven days prior to sale date and that must include tattoo number, freeze brands and identifying markings. The coggins test must be an original or carbon copy of original, legible, unaltered and must show seal of state in which it was drawn.
The FSBOA Sale provides an excellent venue for sale of Florida-sired yearlings, yearlings that may not have been consigned in Northeast and Midwest sales and mixed horses that may have racing opportunity at the 140-day Pompano Park meet which begins September 21.
