French trotting star Face Time Bourbon, with Eric Raffin in the bike, leads the field in the Prix du Bourbonnais, which is the second qualification race for the Prix d’Amerique.

A field of 17 trotters were entered in this Sunday’s 1-3/4 mile event, which has a total purse of 110,000 Euro. The first three finishers earn a spot in not just the Prix d’Amerique, but also in the Prix de France and the Prix de Paris.

The first qualification was won by Face Time Bourbon followed by Etonnant and Ganay de Banveille; the first two are again in the field on Sunday.

A total of 14 French, two Italian and one Norwegian trotter make up the field in the Prix du Bourbonnais.
