Fancy Footwork tied the all-age track record at Saratoga Casino and Raceway when he won on Friday night in a time of 1:51.

The pacer wired the field in the $25,000 claiming pace with Wally Hennessey in the sulky. Fancy Footwork (Western Hanover) was coming off a 1:52.1 victory when he went coast to coast in a dazzling 1:51 on Friday night.

The win time matches the mark set by Rare Jewel in 2006 and tied by Gimmebackmybullets in 2007 and Joey The Czar in 2010.

A 5-year-old Margaret Spagnola trainee, Fancy Footwork won for the fourth time in his last six starts and became the first non-Open or Sire Stakes horse to pace 1:51 in track history.

The final four races on Friday were cancelled due to inclement weather.

Live racing continues on Saturday night at Saratoga with a first post time of 7:05 p.m.
