Fear Her Touch takes Vernon feature

Vernon, NY — Fear Her Touch (Leon Bailey) captured the $5,000 distaff pacing feature at Vernon Downs on Friday (May 10).

Irish Exit Express (John MacDonald) went to the lead and controlled splits of :27.3, :56.2 and 1:25.1. As they reached the stretch, Irish Exit Express looked like she had the race well in hand, but Fear Her Touch ($8.90) had other ideas. She popped the pocket and blew on by to win in a lifetime best of 1:53.4. Irish Exit Express had to settle for second; One More Try (Dylan Huckabone-Miller) finished third.
