Vincennes, IT — Four horses battled it out in the Prix de Belgique at Vincennes Sunday (Jan. 14) afternoon, and the judges had to call for a photo.
Long leading Izard Vedaquais with Benjamin Rochard managed to keep the head in front and won by a nose, but there was a dead for second between the mare, Inmarosa with Leo Abrivard and Go on Boy with Romain Derieux – fourth was Hussard de Landret with Yoann Lebourgeois.
Three wild cards for the Prix d’Amerique were up for grabs, but only two was to be handed out as Izard Vedaquais earlier had secured his spot in the big race, but now Inmarosa and Go on Boy is in the Prix d’Amerique.
Hussard du Landret has earlier win his spot in the Prix d’Amerique.
18 trotters can race in the Prix d’Amerique and after six qualifying races the following has secured their place in the race.

San Moteur is sidelined injured, and Jushua Tree will race in the Prix Bold Eagle to be raced the day before Prix d’Amerique.
The remaining spots in the race will go the trotters with the highest lifetime earnings.
