Flite Craft, Kings County win Meadows co-features

Washington, PA – Flite Craft made it two straight Saturday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, sealing the deal with a swift :27.1 final quarter. He captured the card’s co-feature, a $12,000 conditioned pace in 1:51.

Flite Craft quarter-poled to the top for Mike Wilder, and while would-be challengers emerged late, the 4-year-old A Rocknroll Dance-Kitty Kitty Hawk gelding put them away with that smoking final panel. Timeisonmyside rallied for second, beaten 2-1/2 lengths, with Moneyman Mikki third.

In Saturday’s companion feature, a $12,000 conditioned trot, Kings County needed the entire first quarter to reach the point, but he widened his lead thereafter for Anthony MacDonald to triumph in 1:53.1. Early leader Chin Chin Hall was second, six lengths back, while Big Boy Ernest completed the ticket.

Tim Twaddle conditions the 8-year-old son of Muscle Hill-Brooklyn, who now boasts career earnings of $523,066, for TheStable Kings County.

Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. collected four wins on the 14-race card, including three for trainer Ron Burke, while trainer Dirk Simpson fashioned a triple.
