Forever Jesse looks to remain perfect in Kentucky fairs

Lexington, KY — Going into the Kentucky Fair Stakes final for 3-year-old trotting colts, Forever Jesse is looking to make it a perfect eight-for-eight on the year and sweep his division of the Kentucky Fair circuit.

After winning his first six fairs on half-mile tracks by open lengths, he captured his seventh fair stakes win at the Woodford County Fair held at Red Mile in a new lifetime mark of 1:58 last Friday (July 26).

The sophomore trotter is a homebred son of Jailhouse Jesse out of the Valley Victor mare Chillinghim. He is owned by Dudley Thompson, David Arboe and Tracye Huber, trained by Phillip Cotton and has been driven by Tyler Shehan in each start this year.

The Kentucky Fair Stakes finals will be held this Saturday (Aug. 3) at Red Mile beginning at 5:30 p.m. with three non-betting races and the remaining five finals are slated to be contested with wagering during the Red Mile card starting at 7 p.m.
