Solvalla, SE — The two main events Saturday afternoon (May 29) at Solvalla was won by Billie de Montfort and Wild Love – both mares trained in France.

Billie de Montfort, trained by Sebastian Guarato and with Gelormini in the bike was in command from start in a mile race, and though Hevin Boko with Mikka Fors came with a late attack Billie de Montfort managed to win in 1.51.4f.

In the classic Harper Hanover race over approx. 2 miles Wild Love, trained by Anders Lindqvist and with Kevin Oscarsson in the bike sprang a surprise victory as she went past the favorite, Who’s Who with Ôrjan Kihlström down the stretch.

Wild Love, who trailed the field by 40 meters was timed in 1.54.1f (mile rate) – the purse for the winner was 1 million SEK – or $120,000.
