Freshman trotters to race in Buckeye Stallion Series at Delaware County Fair

Grove City, OH — The last leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for the 2-year-old trotters before the final on Oct. 6 will race at the Delaware County Fair Wednesday (Sept. 19).

Races one, four and six will be the filly trotters.

Race one will see Foolmegypsy (Deep Chip-Flirtified), a 10-time starter who has won seven races this year and placed second her other three, which were both legs of the Buckeye Stallion Series. The Deep Chip filly is trained by Dan Noble.

Two fillies in race four were leg winners in their division at Urbana, Supreme Lady (Knight Of Intrigue-Open The Case), trained by Rosy Weaver, and Gayla Kaye (Dejarmbro-Ticket to Glide), trained by John Ryan Melsheimer.

Feel Invincible (Broadway Hall-There’s A Way) will be in race six. She won her division in the first leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series and has a win from her division in the second leg of the Ohio Sires Stakes. She is trained by Annette Lorentzon. Precious Diamond (Wishing Stone-Lindy’s Top Model), trained by Christopher Beaver, won her last start at Upper Sandusky and has a Buckeye Stallion Series win at Painesville.

The 2-year-old trotting colts will be in races five, seven, nine and 18.

Race five will see two Wishing Stone colts who have both won their series divisions at Urbana, SV Payton Place (Wishing Stone-Miss Payton) and Stars An Stones (Wishing Stone-A Star For Sidney). Stars An Stones also has five Ohio Fair Stakes wins. Both colts are trained by Christopher Beaver. State Ofmyhead As (Broadway Hall-Yankee Jeanie) won his division in the first leg at Scioto Downs.

Luckycompeter (Uncle Peter-Lucky Billie), trained by Christopher Beaver, will compete in race seven. He won his division in leg three at Urbana. Another previous Buckeye Stallion Series winner, Surprize Mission (Manofmanymissions-Prize Chip), trained by Sam Schillaci, will also be in race seven.

Ub Cruisin (Dontyouforgetit-Kris’s Legacy) will be in race nine. He has won his last two starts and has four Ohio Fair Stake wins. He is trained by Dalton Walls. There are four Uncle Peter colts in this race: Frontloader (Uncle Peter-DJ Babe), Norwegian Dad (Uncle Peter-Nicole Kraft), Dynamic Ridge (Uncle Peter-Frannie’s Ridge) and Uncle Amos (Uncle Peter-Europass).

Race 18 will see four previous Buckeye Stallion Series winners. Joe Gotta Go (Neely Dunn-My Chere), trained by Brian Brown, won two divisions in back to back legs, July 3 and 18 at Scioto Downs. Buckeyeonbroadway (Dejarmbro-Dream On Broadway), trained by Jeff Edwards, also won his division both of those days. Voyage To Paris (Dontyouforgetit-Paris Hall), trained by Jim Pollock Jr., and Roscoe Village (Broadway Hall-Abbey Craig), trained by Scott Mogan, both won their divisions at Urbana.

The 2-year-old colt and filly pacers will race at the Delaware County Fair on Thursday (Sept. 20).
