Givem The Goo sets Rosecroft track record

Ft. Washington, MD — Givem The Goo, a 4-year-old son of Googoo Gaagaa, set the Rosecroft track record for 4-year- old trotting geldings on Tuesday night (Nov. 8), winning in 1:53.4 in the featured $13,000 Winners Over Trot.

Jared Moyer drove the winner for owner-breeder Brian Emerson and trainer Kerry Welty. The mark lowered the standard held by Hambletonian champion Vivid Photo and Speed It. It was his 10th win in 30 career starts, and one of two wins on the night for Moyer who also scored with Flashazz N for his wife Kayla.

Jonathan Roberts won five times on the Tuesday card, securing the $12,500 feature for pacing mares with Dewitt For Josie for trainer Michael Hall who won four times on the card.

Roger Plante won twice and Stacey Mclenaghan won both divisions of the Rosecroft Amateur Drivers club and scored for female trainers Erica Hanley and Alexandra Goldin.

Rosecroft will host the $125,000 Potomac Pace on Thursday night; first race post is 7:15 p.m.
