Globetrotting gets lifetime mark in Meadows feature

Washington, PA — Globetrotting quarter-poled to the front and jogged off to a convincing 1:54.2 victory — the fastest of her career — in Tuesday’s (Sept. 22) feature at The Meadows, a $10,400 conditioned trot.

Once Dave Palone sent her to the top, the 3-year-old daughter of Manofmanymissions and Celebrity Deville opened a four-length lead after three-quarters before downing the rallying Tamar by a length. Kellie’s MVP shot the Lightning Lane for show.

Tim Twaddle trains Globetrotting, who now boasts a lifetime bankroll of $205,239, for Thestable Globetrotting.

Palone collected four wins on the 13-race card, including a pair for Twaddle.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Wednesday (Sept. 23), when the 13-race program features a $31,287.94 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
