Glowing Report scores in Allerage Farms Mare Pace

by Dean A. Hoffman

Lexington, KY — Glowing Report won the $77,500 Allerage Farms for pacing fillies and mares on Saturday (Oct. 7) at The Red Mile to kick off the many feature races on the “Super Saturday.”

Only five mares were entered, but the field got even smaller when Miss Galvinator A was scratched.

Driver David Miller sent Glowing Report to the lead at the start and was never headed. Following her were Loyal Opposition, Chotat Milk, and Four Starzzzz Ittt. The field paced through fractions of :28.2, :55.3, and 1:24.1 with their positions unchanged.

Once they entered the stretch, Miller gave Glowing Report her head and she paced away from the field easily to win in 1:50.4. Four Starzzzz Ittt closed fast to edge out Loyal Opposition for second place. Chotat Milk was fourth.

A 5-year-old daughter of Artsplace, Glowing Report has earned more than $1.8 million in her career for owner Marvin Rounick and trainer Jerry Silverman. She paid $3.20 and $2.10. There was no show wagering.
