GoFundMe account established for Ohio facilities under EHV-1 quarantine

from Ken Terpenning, Miami Valley Horsemen Assistance Fund

Lebanon, OH — The recent quarantine of the Warren County Fairgrounds in Ohio and a training facility in Jamestown, Ohio, due to a case of EHV-1 has resulted in over 400 horses being ineligible to race until the quarantines are lifted.

As a result, a Facebook page has been set up to help with donations, Miami Valley Horsemen Assistance Fund, as well as a Go Fund Me page that can be found here. The funds will be used to offset the cost to trainers, owners and caretakers who will be unable to race due to the quarantine.
