Goodtogo Hanover extends streak to five, including two straight in Meadows Series

Washington, PA — Goodtogo Hanover rolled to her fifth consecutive victory — including two straight in the Whata Donato Trot — in Wednesday’s second leg of the series for 3-year-old fillies at The Meadows. Regal Woman captured the other $17,500 second leg split.

Goodtogo Hanover scored her second straight victory in the Whata Donato Trot in Wednesday’s second leg of the series for 3-year-old fillies at The Meadows.
Hammered down to 1-9. Goodtogo Hanover zipped to the lead for Brian Zendt and drew off to score in 1:57, 4-1/4 lengths better than My Pink Bike. A Little Laid Back was third. Bill Zendt trains the daughter of Explosive Matter-Grammy Hall, who figures to be a short-priced favorite in next Wednesday’s championship leg, and owns with Gary Saul.
Regal Woman used a quick backside burst to get the jump on the favorite, Waterview Hanover, and held on to defeat her by 1/2 length for Mike Wilder in 1:58. I’m Justa Lil Lady earned show. Gary Johnston conditions Regal Woman, a daughter of SJ’s Caviar-Broadway Woman, for owner/breeder William Solomon.
Palone piloted four winners on the 15-race card while Wilder and trainer Tim Twaddle each enjoyed a triple.
