Lebanon, OH — Owners and trainers of nominated Ohio-sired 3-year-old pacers are reminded of the entry deadlines for the elimination heats of the James K. Hackett Memorial late closers. With 38 fillies nominated and 58 colts and geldings, $12,500 elimination races will almost certainly be needed this coming Friday (April 14) and Saturday (April 15).

The box for Friday, when the fillies will vie for spots in the $40,000 final a week later, closes at 10 a.m. on Monday (April 10) The ‘boys’ will race Saturday with the box closing on Tuesday (April 11) at 10 a.m.

Entries can be made using the USTA online entry platform or by calling the Miami Valley race office at 513.934.7792 from 8 to 10 a.m. on Monday morning.
