Marg In Charge 2,1:54.2, a Tactical Landing 3-year-old like this year’s Hambletonian favorite Karl, was sold by partners Pinske Stables, Mel Hartman and Curly Tall Curly Small and trainer Nifty Norman. The winning bidder was Jacob Mossberger of Midland Acres, which sold the filly as a yearling for $95,000 at Lexington.
Lavishness 3,1:55.1f-’24, a lightly raced son of 2009 Hambo winner Muscle Hill, leaves the Lucas Wallin barn after selling on Monday for $85,000 to Jackie Greene of New York.
Last week, Pacino Hanover p,4,1:49, a 4-year-old son of American Ideal was sold for $89,000 by Joe Pavia and partners. Jamie Marchment of Ontario was the high bidder. She’s A Stranger, a Tall Dark Stranger 2-year-old filly from the Captaintreacherous family was sold by Our Three Sons Stable to Eric Good of Kentucky for $60,200. Caviart Justice p,3,1:51.3f-’24, a Lazarus N son, went for $40,200 with Yannick Gingras the winning bidder. Casanova Hall 2,1:57.2f, a Greenshoe 3-year-old, was purchased by The Stable of Ontario from newly inducted Hall of Famer Dave McDuffee. Jonnys Sea Drop p,3,1:53.4f-’24, a son of Downbytheseaside, went from the Brian Brown stable to Brian Tatham of Ohio for $33,000. Finally, the Captaintreacherous 3-year-old Shock Trooper p,3,Q1:52.3 exits the Tony Alagna barn after being purchased by Brady Jenson for $26,000.
