Harness industry at FFA Convention Nov. 1-3

Columbus, OH — Harness racing will once again be well represented at the 96th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. The National FFA Expo will be open Wednesday-Friday (Nov. 1-3) at the Indiana Convention Center with the harness racing booth in spot #402.

The 10×30 area will have a 360 virtual reality experience, bandaging station, equine front limb bone identification, horse feed station and literature for advisors.

“Education about harness racing and the Standardbred is vital to the future,” said Ellen Taylor, the executive director of the Harness Horse Youth Foundation. “What better way to do this than to expose potentially 50,000 Blue Jackets to career opportunities for those who love horses?”

The booth would not be possible without the multitude of industry sponsors including Harness Horse Youth Foundation (HHYF), Indiana Standardbred Association (ISA), Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association (OHHA), Delaware Standardbred Owners Association (DSOA), Illinois Harness Horsemen’s Association (IHHA), Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA), Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOA NJ), Standardbred Owners Association of New York (SOA-NY), Eldorado Scioto Downs, Harrah’s Hoosier Park & Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.
