Harness Racing Museum will attend Tattersalls January Mixed Sale

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — Personnel from The Harness Racing Museum’s gift shop will be attending the Tattersalls January Mixed Sale at the Meadowlands on Monday, January 18.

As usual, on hand will be an eclectic collection for sale of giftware, books and videos, cold weather clothing, toys and much more, all sporting harness racing’s world famous icon, the harness racing driver and the Standardbred horse. All proceeds from the Museum’s retail sales department help to fund the operations of the sport’s world-class showcase. Last year more than 28,000 people visited the facility to experience the wonders of harness racing: its beauty and excitement, its history and its great times.

If the Tattersalls January Mixed Sale is in your plans we urge you to click here and place your order. We will be happy to deliver it to you at the sale, and thus save on shipping costs, or wait and make your choices at the Sale, though be warned, choices are limited!

Joanne Young, the Museum’s Development Director, will also be on hand at the Sale with the 2010 Stallion Auction roster and bid sheets. Each year the listing seems to get better and better. Breedings are still pouring in and are available for most states and several Canadian provinces. This important Museum fundraiser provides much needed general operating income that allows the museum to function at a superior level in providing educational services and promotional opportunity that support the sport.

If you are unable to attend the Sale and would like to either donate a breeding or place a bid and require a bid sheet please contact Joanne at 845.294.6330 or development@harnessmuseum.com. When the roster is finalized it will also be available, together with the bid sheet on the Museum Web site at www.harnessmuseum.com.
