Columbus, OH — As reported in a press release on Tuesday (March 11), at its annual meeting on Sunday (March 9) in Columbus, Ohio, the U.S. Trotting Association Board of Directors voted to hand down sanctions to seven members judged to have violated Association rules and/or bylaws.
In the Friday (March 14) edition of Harness Racing Update, USTA president Russell Williams told writer Dave Briggs those sanctions involved “concealing” business dealings with incarcerated former trainer Nick Surick.
