Harrah’s Hoosier Park to offer breakfast at the Hop

Anderson, IN — Beginning on Saturday (June 8), Harrah’s Hoosier Park will host Breakfast at the Hop to go along with Saturday morning qualifiers for the month of June. Located in The Hop outdoor recreational area on the north end of the track apron, guests can enjoy complimentary danishes and coffee while watching the sport’s future stars take to the track during qualifiers for two-year-olds.

Breakfast at the Hop will have something for guests brand new to the sport, as well as those already familiar with racing. From 10am-noon, Harrah’s Hoosier Park on-air analysts Emily Gaskin and Jacob Rheinheimer will be joined by various horsemen to explain what horsemen are looking for from their young pupils on the track, and how that will translate to racing under the lights. This will go along with various giveaways taking place throughout the session, sponsored by the Indiana Standardbred Association. Should rain impact affairs, Breakfast at the Hop will be hosted in the Terrace Showroom Suites located in the grandstand area below Pegasus Bar.

Saturday’s in June will also play host to the return of the Hop Be-Bop concert series. Every Saturday from 7-10pm in the Hop, guests will find a local musician to go along with a food truck, corn hole and other outdoor activities. The Hop Be-Bop will kick off on Saturday, June 1 with Frank Bradford live during Saturday’s Card.

Harrah’s Hoosier Park currently races on a Wednesday through Saturday racing schedule, until June 25 where Tuesdays will be added to the schedule.
