Saratoga Springs, NY — Shark Racing Stable’s Heaven On High N posted a 33-1 upset in his Saratoga Casino Hotel debut on Saturday night (April 6), winning the $15,000 Open Pace in 1:54.
Despite having drawn post eight with the 7-year-old son of Rock N Roll Heaven, veteran trainer-driver Larry Stalbaum kept his charge rolling on the outside through a :28.1 first quarter before powering up to the front to control a :56.3 half. In the second lap, Heaven On High faced a first-over challenge from favored My Pal Joe (driven Shawn Gray) while other rivals closed in, but Heaven On High N proved up to the task and paid $69.50 to win.

Live racing at Saratoga continues Sunday (April 7); post time is 12 noon.
