Temple Hills, MD — Due to the outbreak of the EHV-1 equine virus, Rosecroft Raceway is taking the following precautions.

Rosecroft will not accept the following horses until further notice:

• Horses that made their last start at The Meadows or any track in Ohio since Jan. 10

You must submit a recent negative lab report on a nasal swab and provide a signed health certificate issued within 48 hours prior to the horse’s first start at Rosecroft Raceway for:

• Horses that started at The Meadows or in Ohio Jan. 1-9
• All horses who have stabled at The Meadows, any training facility in Pa. or Ohio since Jan. 1
• Horses stabled at the same location as a horse that raced at The Meadows or Ohio since Jan. 10

These rules will apply for both qualifying and race nights.
