HHYF Silent Auction begins Wednesday

Westfield, IN — The Harness Horse Youth Foundation’s Silent Auction will begin Wednesday evening, October 1, and run through Saturday evening, October 4. Items included are five Bow River Jewelry selections and a 40-inch bronze entitled “Girl and Her Foal.”

Potential bidders will obtain bid numbers at the sales pavilion. Auction hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m each evening with all items on display during these hours.

“The Lexington Selected Yearling Sale staff has been gracious in allowing the auction to be held at such an exciting location,” said HHYF Silent Auction Chairman Marlys Pinske. “With all proceeds to benefit the HHYF and HRYL summer camps, we are looking forward to lively bidding and a successful fundraiser.”

Established in 1976, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation addresses youth education about harness racing throughout North America. A charitable organization, HHYF has a proven track record in accomplishing its mission of providing hands-on experiences and introducing new fans and families to Standardbred racing.
