Truro, NS — Truro Horse Owners Association are planning a fundraiser in support of Clare MacDonald (Haley), who was injured in a racing accident in St John earlier in the summer.

Clare is one of the most successful female driver/trainers in Canada and is very respected in the horse industry in the Maritimes.

Clare’s friends in the horse industry will be having a party on Saturday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Truro Horsemens Club located at Truro Raceway. We hope to raise some money to help with expenses while Clare recovers. We invite all to come out in support of Clare.

We are soliciting donations of items to be used in an auction. We are planning an online auction of stallion fees, a silent auction and a live auction. All donations will be appreciated.
