Illinois horsemen voice support for gambling expansion bill

Columbus, OH — A story in the Springfield (IL) State Journal Register takes a look at Senate Bill 744 and offers comments from several Illinois horsemen including USTA Director Dr. Ken Walker.

SB 744 would expand the number of casinos and allow year-round horse racing with slot machines at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, as well as slots at other race tracks and at Chicago’s O’Hare and Midway airports.
