Nichols, NY — In The Spotlight N (Tyler Miller) took the $12,000 featured fillies and mares pace on Friday (June 28) at Tioga Downs.

In The Spotlight N ($15.00) went straight to the lead and led to the quarter in :27.2. She slowed things down with a :30 second quarter and was first to the half in :57.2. She remained in the lead to three-quarters in 1:24.3.

As they made the turn for home second place finisher Oaxacan Dream N (Braxten Boyd) came first-over and all out after the leader. In The Spotlight N had plenty in the tank and won easily in 1:52.1. Hurrikane Lady Lou (Jim Pantaleano) finished third.

In The Spotlight N Is a 6-year-old mare by Bettor’s Delight. She is owned by Pollack Racing and trained by Jeff Cullipher. It was her second win this season. She now owns 17 career victories.

Braxten Boyd drove three winners on the card. Tyler Miller and Mike Merton each had driving doubles. Jeff Cullipher had a training double.
