Incaseyoudidntknow wins back-to-back at Bally’s Dover

Dover, DE – Incaseyoudidntknow won back-to-back races defeating a solid field in the Winners Over/Open Mares Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday (Nov. 8) night. Driver Jim Morand exploded from post eight at the start of the race. That strategy proved to be a winning one.

Tae, Feeling Sweet and Incaseyoudidntknow all left alertly racing to the quarter. Incaseyoudidntknow, the 6/5 betting favorite found the lead, but was parked to the quarter in a brisk :26.3. She continued to cruise on the lead passing the half in :55. The three-quarters were marched off in 1:23.4 Feeling Sweet (8/5) watched all the action from third. Midway down the backstretch she attacked first-up and the two betting favorites dueled into the lane.

Incaseyoudidntknow(Always B Miki) went into another gear and won by 1-1/2 lengths pacing the mile in 1:51.3. She returned $4.40 to her backers for the win. Incaseyoudidntknow is owned by James P Magno and Joseph P. Fonte, both from
Maryland. Les Givens trained and Jim Morand drove. Feeling Sweet was second for trainer Joe Columbo and was driven by Tim Tetrick.

Tae picked up the show spot for trainer Brenda Teague and driver Tony Morgan.

Tim Tetrick drove five winners on the card. Trainer Joe Columbo and his owners George and Tina Dennis each picked up four winners.

Tomorrow night at Bally’s Dover there are (four) divisions of 3-year-old Matron Stakes. Race six is the $141,450 Matron Stakes for 3-year-old fillies on the trot (est. off time 6:17 p.m.). Race eight is the $127,400 Matron Stakes for 3-year-old colt and geldings on the trot. (est. off time 6:57 p.m.).

Race 10 is the $117,550 Matron Stakes for 3-year-old pacing fillies. (est. off time is 7:37 p.m.)

Race 12 is the Hap Hansen Matron Stakes for 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers featuring Confederate. (est. off time is 8:17 p.m.).

There is a Pick-5 carry over worth $1,798.37 on races 6-10 on Thursday (Nov. 9).

Ballys Dover races Monday thru Thursday with a post time of 4:30 p.m.
