Harrington, DE — Jim Magno and Joe Fonte’s Incaseyoudidntknow ($2.20, Jim Morand) won the featured $18,000 Mares Open Tuesday (April 22) at Harrington Raceway in 1:54.1.

Morand guided the 7-year-old Always B Miki mare first-over with sustained pressure to the leader Ludacrous A and started to edge clear at the top of the stretch before drawing away by 1-1/2 lengths for her 40th lifetime win. She defeated Awesome Hill and Disturbed Hanover. The Les Givens trainee recorded her second win of the season and is knocking on the door of $750,000 in lifetime earnings.
Morand had two wins on the card.
In the fourth race, a rare victorious 99-1 shot occurred as PD’s Gem ($216, Troy Beyer) fanned wide in the stretch and surged by to hit the wire first at huge odds and achieve her first win of the season for trainer Jason Johnson and owners Mulligan Stables and Calcutta Stable.
Ross Wolfenden, Beyer and Russell Foster also had driving doubles.
