Indian Hill Rocket and driver Kevin Wallis breezed to the wire to win the $10,000 featured trot in 1:55.
The race started out with Indian Hill Rocket going to the front, but at the opening quarter in :28.2, Famous Mark and driver/trainer Marc Major had taken command.
That lead was short lived as Wallis quarter moved with Indian Hill Rocket and they shot right back to the front before the half-mile marker in :57.1.
Indian Hill Rocket then held the field at bay through the three-quarters in 1:26 and cruised home an easy winner. Guy Gets Girl (Bruce Ranger) rallied for second with Gale Warning (Wally Hennessey) third.
Trained by Linda Wallis, Indian Hill Rocket is a 6-year-old gelding by Corleone and is owned by Yvette Prudenzano and Basil Kellis.
The Vet ($5.60) ended his 32-race losing streak with a two length triumph in the second race trot on Wednesday. The 7-year-old gelding by Added Status had not won a race since July 28, 2006 for owner Ernst Niemann, Jr.
Trained and driven to victory by Stephen Trites, The Vet covered the mile in a lifetime best 2:01. It was his third career victory.
