Harrisburg PA — Horsemen are reminded that the entry box for the Thursday and Friday PA Fair Sire Stakes races at the Somerset County Fair closes at 10 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 18).

Entries can be called in to 610.513.7957 or made online. Note that the track abbreviation for entering is “MEYER,” as in Meyersdale, Pa., the location city.

GPS machines can set an address of 7842 Mount Davis Road, Meyersdale, PA 15552.

Two-year-olds will go to post at 2 p.m. on Thursday, and 3-year-olds at noon on Friday.

This is the first time harness racing has been held at the Somerset County Fair in more than 50 years.
