Eight-year-old Vivid Wise As (sired by Yankee Glide) trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro and with Matthieu Abrivard in the bike, came from behind to win the prestigious Prix de France at Vincennes Sunday (Feb. 13).

Vivid Wise As won by two lengths in a new race record of 1.52.1 (mile rate) followed by last year’s winner of the race, Delia du Pommereux og France and another Italian, Zacon Gio finished third.

Fourth was Power of Sweden and fifth Vitruvio of Italy.

The old record of 1.52.2 was held by Kool du Caux, who won the race in 2007.

Vivid Wise As, who earned $204,000 dollars for the win, is owned by Scuderia Bivans, who is the main owner in another trotting star the now retired Face Time Bourbon.

Face Time Bourbon finished second in the Prix de France in 2020 and 2021 – the third time was lucky for Scuderia Bivans.
