East Rutherford, NJ — Meadowlands Racetrack hosts live harness racing every Friday and Saturday through the winter with a 6:20 p.m. post time.

Every Friday in January, racing fans can enjoy free live racing programs, available beginning at 5 p.m.

The Meadowlands Winter Meet Survival Challenge powered by 123Racing kicks off Friday (Jan. 6). Cash prizes and Meadowlands swag are up for grabs in this free online competition. The grand prize is $750 plus a Meadowlands swag package. New this year is the monthly $100 winner. On Jan. 14, the track hosts a six course Latin-inspired wine dinner for $79.95. The menu includes shrimp ceviche, tostones, empanadas, grilled skirt steak and three desserts. The menu with wine pairings can be viewed at this link.

New for 2023 is Sunday matinee racing on Jan. 22 and 29 with a 12:30 p.m. post time. During the Sunday matinee cards, guests can dine at the $29.95 brunch featuring eggs benedict, French toast, scrambled eggs, a carving station and Jason Settlemoir’s spicy bloody mary.
