Dover, DE – Jett Propelled took full advantage of the drop down in class and defeated high level conditioned female pacers at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday night (Feb. 18).

Jett Propelled left aggressively on the lead racing into the first turn. LuLu Rocks also left and protected pylon position in second. Always B Merry, who won three consecutive races, floated on the outside from fourth then sprinted to lead. She was parked to the opening quarter in 27.2. Jett Propelled gladly accepted pocket position
Always B Merry, the 3-5 betting favorite, raced confidently on the lead reaching the half in 56, a 28.3 quarter. Stevie Hanover began a coverless 1st over sprint up the backstretch. Always B Merry remained loose on the lead at the three quarters in 1:24.4, a 28.4 quarter. The rest of the field remained respectfully along the pylons.
At the top of the stretch, Stevie Hanover could no longer sustain a threatening bid on the rim. Jet Propelled, the pocket rocket, revved up her engines along the pylons and drew clear to win by a half length. Jett Propelled paced her mile in 1:53.2 and paId $5.40 for the win.
Always B Merry dug in late but finished second. Scrivener Hanover closed late and finished third

The featured fourth race on Thursday (Feb. 19) is the $25,000 Open Pace. Steven’s Saloon takes on Muskateer Hanover and Jack’s Shadow N.
