East Rutherford, NJ – The Meadowlands Racetrack kicks off July with Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday (July 5). From 6 to 11 p.m., fans can grab $1 hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, soda, and $2 draft beer at the Café, on the Victory Terrace, and in the Backyard. Guests are encouraged to stay after the races for the free fireworks display.
On the track Saturday night, the top 4-year-olds compete in the Graduate Series finals. The race card has a special post time of 7 p.m. (EDT).
The action on and off the track continues the following weekend.
Saturday, July 12, is the Meadowlands’ signature nighttime event – The Meadowlands Pace! On the track, $2.5 million in stakes are up for grabs, including the top 3-year-old pacers competing for the Meadowlands Pace title. The race card also features (estimated purses):
