A multiple stakes winner in Pennsylvania and Kentucky at 2 and 3, the now 5-year-old son of Bar Hopping has blossomed into a top older trotter, winning over $200,000 in 2023 and over $54,000 so far in 2024. He was coming off a win at Yonkers in the $35,000 Invitational on Thursday night (May 30).

EVM Racing LLC (Edward Mendez) of Delaware was the winning bidder.

Also on Tuesday, Unforgettable 4,1:53.2f-’24 ($141,067) was purchased for $67,400 by Jeff Fought of Indiana from Chris Page of Ohio. The 4-year-old daughter of Helpisontheway has chalked up six wins and over $79,000 so far in 2024 while racing in Ohio.

Currently in the onGait auction ring are Who Said I Can’t p,3,1:51.2f-’24 ($40,099), who took his mark in a Weiss Memorial leg for the Mark Harder barn; Secret Garden p,2,1:54.2f ($83,651), a NYSS-winning 4-year-old Huntsville mare; and Along In Time 3,1:54.4h ($115,731), a 4-year-old Long Tom mare currently racing at Yonkers.
