Lexington, KY – It was an exciting evening of action at The Red Mile on Sunday (Sept. 14) for the eight $400,000 Kentucky Championship Series finals, with Looksgoodinloulou, Ubrute, Country Glide, Yo Tillie, Topville Lucky, Endurance, Super Chapter and Sippinonsearoc coming away with titles.
Looksgoodinloulou defeats Miki And Minnie in 3-year-old filly pace

Unreasonable and Marcus Miller left from the rail to set the first split of :27.4 as Yannick Gingras positioned Looksgoodinloulou in second with Dan Patch Award winner Miki And Minnie (Dexter Dunn) in third. Dunn pulled his charge prior to the half-mile marker to place her in front by a head in :54.2. The filly set the third split of 1:22.1 with Unreasonable following and Looksgoodinloulou content to track in fourth.
As the fillies turned for home, they were all prepared for a sprint to the wire and world champion Looksgoodinloulou proved best by three-quarters of a length in 1:48.3. Last year’s Kentucky champion and Breeders Crown victress Miki And Minnie was next under the wire and Unreasonable held for third.
Bred by Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi, the daughter of Sweet Lou-Looksgoodinaromper, turned the tables on Miki And Minnie after finishing second to the sport’s top-ranked horse in last year’s contest. She also snapped Miki And Minnie’s seven-race win streak.
Looksgoodinloulou is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Larry Karr and Phil Collura. She improved her career record to 17-8-5-0 and boosted her bank account to $624,087.
Looksgoodinloulou paid $27.86 to win as the public’s fourth choice in the field of seven.
Ubrute holds off Brandon Blvd to take the 2-year-old male pacing title
Second-choice Brandon Blvd (Tim Tetrick), who won three of the four legs of this series, could not catch favored Ubrute (Gingras) prior to the finish line. Ubrute stopped the clock in a new lifetime best of 1:49.4. Be Sting (Dunn) rounded out the trifecta.
Brandon Blvd set the tone right off the gate with a first quarter in :28, but Gingras confidently handled his colt as the duo went to the lead to the half in :55 and three quarters in 1:23.2. Brandon Blvd simply ran out of real estate, finishing a half-length behind Ubrute.
A son of Sweet Lou-Warrawee Ubeaut, Ubrute collected his second win from five starts and his second consecutive triumph over Brandon Blvd.
Bred by Burke Racing Stable, Crawford Farms Racing, J&T Silva-Purnel & Libby and Phil Collura, Ubrute is the first foal out of his multiple Dan Patch Award winning dam. He is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Hatfield Stables and Collura.
The colt has earned $269,600 and provided his supporters with $3.48 at the windows.
Country Glide upsets favored Setyoursightshigh in freshman filly trot
David Miller and Country Glide took command from the outset of this mile and favored Setyoursightshigh (Dunn) could not catch the 25-1 shot despite a determined drive to the finish line. Naked And Famous (Todd McCarthy) was third. Country Glide’s head win terminated the six-race win streak of the public’s top selection and was clocked in 1:52.3.
Country Glide clicked off fractions of :27.3, :56 and 1:24.3 with Setyoursightshigh in third until the half-mile when Leading Lady (Gingras) in second position began to back up. Naked And Famous and Carve (Andrew McCarthy) closed stoutly in the stretch while Setyoursightshigh placed her bid, but Country Glide had enough left to hold off her rival.
The daughter of Tactical Landing-Sheer Glide broke her maiden in her seventh start and is trained by Melvin Schmucker.
Bred by Buckstone Land Livestock, Country Glide is owned by Yacht Club 140 LLC.
The filly paid $52.62 for her first trip to the winner’s circle and now has collected $246,000 in purse money.
Yo Tillie wins 12th straight with sophomore filly trot hardware

Stash Some Cash (Dunn) offered her best, but ultimately Yo Tillie (T. McCarthy), harness racing’s third-ranked horse in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, showed grit and class to prevail by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:51 for trainer Andrew Harris. Torrisi (Tim Tetrick) was third.
Stash Some Cash assumed command right from the start with a first quarter in :28 with Yo Tillie trotting in fourth. McCarthy, however, moved his filly to the front prior to a half in :55.3. The winner hit the three-quarter pole in 1:23.3 and was never seriously threatened in the stretch drive.
Bred by GBW Breeding Farms and Black Creek Farm, Yo Tillie has not tasted defeat since last year’s Championship event, when she finished third. The daughter of Tactical Landing-Consolidator improved to a perfect nine-for-nine in 2025 and boosted her career bankroll to $923,633.
Yo Tillie was purchased privately last fall by William Pollock, Bruce Areman and her trainer from former owner-trainer-driver Verlin Yoder after she won the $100,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes Final at Cumberland Run.
The filly possesses a career resume of 21-17-1-1 and paid $2.12 to win as the heavy favorite.
Topville Lucky bests Gala in 2-year-old filly pace
Favored Gala gave it her all, but she and Todd McCarthy could not surpass Topville Lucky (Dunn), who collected her third straight win in 1:50.4. Seaside Shuffle (Gingras) was third.
Gala established the first fraction of :27.3 with Topville Lucky in second but Dunn was not content to sit the pocket for long. Topville Lucky took control from Gala at the half-mile marker in :56 and passed the three-quarter station in 1:24.4. Despite a final panel of :26, Topville Lucky was too strong and also paced in :26 to the line to win by three-quarters of a length.
Bred by Jeremy Yoder, the daughter of Sweet Lou-Warrawee Winx made her first start for her new connections a triumphant one.
Topville Lucky is now trained by Andrew Harris for owners William Pollock, Bruce Areman and himself after procuring the filly earlier this month from Erv Miller, Douglas Overhiser, Dr. Michael Ternisky and Dr. Scott Leaf.
With four wins from five starts, Topville Lucky has amassed $295,000 in purses. She paid $4.56 to win.
It’s all Endurance in the 2-year-old male trot
Endurance and Andrew McCarthy made it look easy as the son of Captain Corey-Love Session hit the finish line in 1:52.3 for his sixth straight win. It Could Be Worse (Scott Zeron) was second and Silverstein (D. Miller) was third.
It Could Be Worse took the early lead with a first fraction in :28.2, but it was short-lived as Endurance trotted by before a half in :56.3. From there it was a display by Endurance through three-quarters in 1:25.4 and a :26.4 final split to make it official. His winning margin was 2-3/4 lengths.
Trained by Chris Beaver, Endurance is owned by Super Endurance Stable, Bill Manes, Leo Fleming and Mark Moger.
The colt was bred by Steve Stewart and Martti Ala-Seppala.
Endurance is 7-6-0-0 with a bank account of $393,200. He paid $2.82 for the victory.
Super Chapter glides to second Kentucky championship

Dunn and Hambletonian runner-up Super Chapter wrested the lead from second-choice Go Dog Go (T. McCarthy) in the stretch to win the title for 3-year-old male trotters in 1:51.1. Go Dog Go made a break and was second-placed-fifth, with Mountcastle (Scott Zeron) elevated to second and Monserrate (Gingras) moved up to third.
Mountcastle went straight to the front through a first split of :28 with Super Chapter in fourth. Go Dog Go overtook Mountcastle through a half-mile in :56.2 before Super Chapter made his bid for the lead.
After three-quarters in 1:24.1, Go Dog Go and Super Chapter battled in the stretch, with the son of Chapter Seven-Lifetime Pursuit using a :26.4 last quarter to win his eighth race from 10 seasonal starts.
Bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, Super Chapter is owned by Jeffrey Snyder, Arthur Pronti and his breeder.
The colt is 21-13-4-1 lifetime and has accumulated $1.45 million. He is trained by Marcus Melander.
Super Chapter paid $2.54 to win as the favorite. He is the fifth-ranked horse in the Hambletonian/Breeders Crown Society poll.
Sippinonsearoc receives his championship, becomes a millionaire
Gingras and Burke won their third final when world champion Sippinonsearoc closed the door on his rivals to record his fifth straight win in 1:48.3. Stablemate Captain Arturovico (Dunn) completed the Burke exacta with Fallout (Tetrick) rounding out the trifecta.
Tetrick placed Fallout on the front for the first quarter mile in :27 with Captain Arturovico, at odds of 38-1, in second. Sippinonsearoc was third, but not for long. Gingras gave the son of Downbytheseaside-Queen Ann M his cue to take the lead through a half in :54.2 and the favorite remained in that position through three-quarters in 1:22.
The colt paced to the wire in :26.3 with Captain Arturovico gamely supplying pressure with his own :26 final panel. The winning margin was a half-length.
Bred by Trent Stohler Stable and Alesha Binkley, Sippinonsearoc is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, R A S Racing and Knox Services.
Sippinonsearoc has a career record of 23-12-4-2 with $1.01 million in his coffers.
A winning ticket on the colt paid $2.66 as the favorite.
