KING ALPHONSO, won the International Stallion Stake at two in 1:52, missing Walner’s world record by just 2/5ths of a second.
The son of MUSCLE HILL, out of $3.5M producing dam AMOUR HEIRESS, a daughter of CANTAB HALL.
King Alphonso defeated two world champions and double millionaires in Amigo Volo ($2.6M) and It’s Academic ($2.7M) in his sensational freshmen season.
“The King” who also won a Pennsylvania Sires Stake at 2 hails from arguably one of the best pedigrees and families in harness racing history.
He is a full brother to Maple Leaf Trot winner and superstar PERICULUM (1:49.3), a winner of over $2.1m. His ultra impressive pedigree also includes Hambletonian winner TRIXTON 3, 1:50.3 and Hall of Fame mare AMOUR ANGUS the dam of three world champions in ANDOVER HALL, ANGUS HALL and CONWAY HALL.
