Northfield, OH — Milestones continued to be set on Monday (Nov. 11) as Cory Kreiser earned his 1,000th career training victory, conditioning Brooklets Desire to victory at MGM Northfield Park.
Coincidentally, driver Billy Davis Jr., who earned his 4,000th career driving win Sunday, was in tow.

Kreiser, originally from Lebanon, Pa., began operating his own stable in 2014 following five starts as a trainer in 2010. His first win was with DVC Jaded Attitude on June 9, 2014.
Kreiser was Northfield Park’s leading trainer in 2022.
Brooklets Desire cleared rivals around the initial turn, but up the backstretch for the first time, No Soup Tonight (Chris Lems) pounced on her. Davis wasted no time retaking, moving to the lead past a :28.1 opening quarter.
After getting to the half in a leisurely :58.4, Davis stepped on the gas and Brooklets Desire took off, creating separation, and when it was all said and done, the mare won by a convincing 6-1/4 lengths in 1:57.
Kreiser’s milestone night wasn’t complete though, as he and Davis teamed up to complete the late double with Buddythebookie.
“I’m thrilled to have reached this milestone, I have to thank everyone who has helped me along the way, it’s a team effort, without them I wouldn’t be here,” said a happy Kreiser.
Live racing resumes on Tuesday (Nov. 12) at MGM Northfield Park, with a first post of 6 p.m.
