Pocomoke City, MD — Late Closers at the Great Pocomoke City Fair close Sunday (July 31) at 12 midnight.

To be eligible for the Late Closers for both sexes and gaits, a horse must have made all 2- and 3-year-old payments to the Maryland Sire Stakes program and be 4-years-old or older.

To nominate send an e-mail to Merani1960@aol.com with the horse’s name, age, gait, owner’s and trainer’s name and a phone number to reach the connections. You will get a confirmation e-mail within 12 hours.

There has been some interest so far, but a few more entries are needed to make these races go.

Racing will take place on Saturday (August 6) with a first post of 12:30 p.m.
