Dover, DE — Last Glow shone brightly en route to his fourth consecutive victory by winning the Open Handicap Trot at Bally’s Dover on Tuesday night (Nov. 25).
Dyladmar and betting favorite Last Glow left alertly at the start of the race.
Dyladmar took a brief lead and marched through an opening quarter in :26.4 over a wet racing surface. Last Glow eagerly pulled the pocket and sprinted to the lead after the quarter.
Jack Parker Jr. backed off the half to :56.4 as Last Glow continued to trot up the backstretch. Micky Muscles, who recovered from an earlier miscue, raced first-over on the rim. Crystal Fashion, the 10-year-old, grabbed cover second-over. Dyladmar raced in the pocket. Last Glow continued to lead confidently to the three-quarters in 1:25.1.
At the top of the stretch, Navy Blue, who won back-to-back races previously, circled three-wide and was closing fast. In deep stretch, Last Glow won under the patented Jack Parker Jr. high rein by 1-3/4 lengths. He trotted the mile in 1:54.2 and paid $3.60 for the win.

Navy Blue closed to finish second; Victor Laszlo grabbed the show spot.
Last Glow, a 6-year-old son of Trixton, is owned by Charles Groce II and trained by Carol Jamieson-Parker.
Troy Beyer drove four winners on the card.
