Ft. Washington, MD — As crews feverishly work to prepare “The Raceway by the Beltway” for another meet of racing action, the Race Office would like to remind everyone that the box for this week’s Friday (March 2) qualifiers will close at noon Thursday (March 1).

The Friday 11 a.m. qualifiers are held one day earlier than the usual Saturday qualifiers due to a scheduling conflict.

Training will be held Thursday between 8 a.m. and noon. Spots are still available to train, please give the Race Office (301.567.4401/4435) a call so we can accommodate your arrival.

The box for the Saturday (March 10) card opens at 11 a.m. on Tuesday (March 6) and closes at 2 p.m. Rosecroft will race Tuesday and Saturday evenings this spring with a first post of 7:25 p.m.

Over 225 horses have already applied to race at Rosecroft during the 2012 Winter-Spring meet but applications are still being taken at this time for the race meet.
