Saratoga Springs, NY — Laurie Lee recorded her second top-level win this season at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Tuesday (April 1), posting a 7-1 upset in the $15,000 Fillies and Mares Open.
Two weeks removed from a wire-to-wire Open score, Laurie Lee and driver Jimmy Devaux left from post seven to make the lead and held off a late bid from favorite Waitforever N (driven by Brett Beckwith) to prevail in 1:55.1. Lady Saturn (Brett Crawford) finished third.
