Letstrytowgleagain picks up second Buckeye Stallion Series win

Grove City, OH — Letstrytowgleagain picked up his second Buckeye Stallion Series victory at MGN Northfield Park Wednesday (July 28). Four divisions of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 3-year-old colt pacers highlighted the program at Northfield Park with each division having a purse of $17,500.

The son of Mr Wiggles with Aaron Merriman raced third until the three-quarters and then moved to get up by a half-length in 1:51.3. Trained by Logan Powell, Letstrytowgleagain was a winner in the second leg at Northfield on July 4.

The fastest of the four winners was Truly Noble (Nob Hill High) who stopped the timer at 1:51. The colt went wire-to-wire for Merriman and trainer Brian Boring and drew away by five lengths to get the win.

JW’s Chrome (Racing Hill) with Kayne Kauffman for Michael Arnold was a winner in 1:52.4. After taking a two-hole trip he was an easy winner by 1-1/4 lengths.

The other winner was Barnard Hanover (Well Said) who raced seventh to the top of the stretch and then came flying home to get up by a head in 1:53.4. The winning trainer was Larry Finn as Merriman picked up one of his four winners on the card.

The 3-year-old colt pacers will take a month off before the fourth leg at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Saturday (Aug. 28).
